Thomas Clark Taylor,  72, of Brooksville, FL, passed away September 1, 2021. He was born June 22, 1949, in Miami, FL. 

Clark was drafted into the Army in 1969, and served in the Vietnam War as a Combat Infantryman. For his service in Vietnam, he received a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, a Combat Infantry Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award). and, the Army and Overseas Service Ribbons.

Clark developed his love of broadcasting both at home, Leesburg, Florida's WLBE Radio; and,  extensively, as a broadcast journalist  in the Army, with The Armed Forces Network (AFN); including expansive work at The Pentagon.  

in 2015, The U.S. Army created "The Clark Taylor Civilian Broadcast Journalist of the Year" award.  

Clark Taylor was survived by numerous family members. 

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral services will be November 6,2021, in Brooksville, Fl.
