Obituary for Tom Ellwood Wolf

Tom Ellwood Wolf, 61, WILDWOOD, FL--passed from this life on March 2, 2013. Born in Dover, Ohio on July 21, 1951 to Dwight E. and Helen Ellwood Wolf. The family moved to Leesburg, FL in 1957. Tom is survived by his wife, Patsy Wolf, his sons Eric (Melyssa) of Arlington, VA, and Tim (Keely) of Boise, ID. He is also survived by his brothers Ed (Irish) of Wildwood, John of Ocala, and Ted (Patti) of Leesburg, as well as many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Wolf Bedsole, and later by his parents, Dwight and Helen Wolf.

Tom was co-manager of Wolfy's restaurants in Leesburg and Ocala for nearly 20 years. He also worked in the plastering and stucco business as his father, Dwight, had done in the Leesburg area. Tom will be remembered as a loving husband, father and brother deeply devoted to his family and friends. Although a quiet and humble man, Tom always found joy in helping those around him. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood on Thursday, March 7 at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
