Ric Brandt ('69) died on July 22, 2012 in Gainesville, FL following a very long illness.  He was in a terrible motorcycle accident in 1981 and subsequently went through 13 operations and almost 100 stays in the hospital over the 31 year span trying to repair the internal damage.  He is survived by his wife, a stepson and a sister (Sherry '70).
